Also, the other big thing this weekend was a surprise birthday party for my youngest sister. She is finally turning 12 and going into young women's. A girl in her ward had her same birthday and her mom decided to put together a little surprise party for the two of them today, Saturday. My mom made a cute little cake for them and they went swimming and had pizza & subs. Unfortunately I wasn't in a swimming mood so I was dying of heat while everyone else swam. Then I had to go home and pick up some things that my mom had forgotten...cause the party was at the other girl's house. Man, I think it was like 115 out today! Blech! The funniest thing was that my sister was totally oblivious to the party. My mom lied to her and told her the bday cake she was making was for another lady in the ward's granddaughter. haha. She's so gullible. Anywho, it was an excellent Saturday...despite the hot weather.

I have not read this blog in way too long! I did my first cut and color the other day on Bridget and it actually turned out pretty decent. And then another girl that I work with got a bad hair cut and came over and I redid it for her. So exciting that all of these girls trust me with their hair. . . I mean it's not like I'm doing a cosmetologist's hair or anything though :)
