President Obama is speaking at MY commencement ceremony.
Then you might be thinking, "SWEET!"
Sorry but, you're wrong. It is not "sweet!", it is OOBER annoying.
It means I would have to leave 10 years earlier than yesterday, and an infinity days before tomorrow to even have a CHANCE at a seat in that stadium.
Needless to say, I will NOT be attending that portion of my graduation. I'll let the other graduating Obama bafoons fight the masses!
Thank you. Goodbye.

You'll save money on the gown :) But I would probably try to do it anyways just to sway that I was there when the president spoke.
I would have done the same thing. =)
I hate to disagree, but I think you should go! Yes- it will be an extra hassle, but it's also a tremendous opportunity. You're one of the graduates, so you will basically have a space saved for you in the Arena. (A definite perk).
I was super not happy when i heard he was coming because I got dumb speeches at my graduation. But I'm happy for everyone who gets to see him speak. It's also the most secure place you can be on that day.
Like I said, I don't want to disagree with you, but I think it would be an awesome experience!
You're awesome!
Kate
Hahahahahahahaha oh Camille I love you :)
Ya I think I would skip out too! I can't even imagine what that would be like and yes Sara is an Abbott. They all look so much alike. :)
and thanks for your kind comments on my blog. You are too sweet. (blush)
I guess I'm one of those buffoons, because I'm pumped about it. I mean, seriously, how many people can say that the president of the country spoke at their graduation. I guess it helps that I like him and voted for him. But, still. I can see your point. It will make things a little crazy. But, I wouldn't miss it.
I with you! so much crazyness about the speaker! which means now, even more limited tickets!
this sucks
Yep. I would go. Especially if you curl your hair like that.
