To help you remember when you bought your mascara last, write the date on the mascara the day you get it and put tape over the writing. Four months from then you won't be thinking in your head, "how old is this mascara??" You'll know!
I had this idea one day and have been glad ever since. This week I noticed my mascara had a lot of fall out then I looked at the tube purchase date...and voila. I purchased it October 14th. (That's not old at all) So I just realized, it's LAME mascara. I mean, I love the brush. It is in the shape of a Christmas tree. But, 2 hours after I've applied there are flecks all over my eye lid and cheek. Sad day indeed. Time to research a new one. So, if you got a text from me this week asking what mascara you recommend, this is the story behind that text.

Yeah, I'm a stalker. But seriously... I LOVE beauty tubes mascara in the red and white tube. It washes completely off with just water and it never flakes or smudges on me.
I know great lash is supposed to be classic and whatnot, but it is not my favorite at all. I use loreal double extend with the primer and like it pretty well once I learned how to apply it (Right when the primer is wet). I got my first tube free from bzzagent and then the eye illuminator after that one ran out (also free from bzzagent). It is the same but has glitter instead of primer.
In case you were looking at those types :)
