(Well, not really. I had a hankering for some red velvet cupcakes ever since I
went to the Sprinkles bakery in Scottsdale, so I just decided I would make some. Then I mixed the batter up and it looked like blood and how could I not make them "in honor of twilight?") haha.
Anyway...I had TOO much fun! See for your self. :)
The drips on some of the cupcakes and on Karie's neck is actually a mixture of chocolate syrup and red dye...it makes for an excellent blood affect. I tried to make the frosting red and...turns out...that doesn't work. It just turns PINK.
