You should preface this with hanging out with a guy until the next morning. Unless you actually did "spend the night." Then you may not want to announce it unless you want a mormon-style intervention.
I think the fact that he isn't your boyfriend makes you a little less likely to get into trouble. But sounds like he should become your boyfriend :)
