What ever happened to those dreams you had when you were a kid? The ones where nothing was complicated in your future life. You got to be that figure skater or professional tennis player and you would easily get married to the most amazing and wonderful man/woman. Why can't life really turn out that way and magically you get what you always wanted? How come a kiss can't really have fireworks and a symphony playing in the background?
I've realized that it's not that easy. If there are fireworks going off in the background of a romantic kiss...it's because something is blowing up in the sky.
Well, after having said that, I have come to say the guy I thought was amazing and had it all together....didn't really have my heart. As I was vacationing with my extended family in Idaho and Utah over the winter break, I received an unexpected phone call. It was my boyfriend. NOT calling to ask how i was doing or how the weather was, he was calling to break up with me. Yep, it's true. Can you say INSENSITIVE? Ok, so I wasn't totally torn up inside. In fact I was relieved! But OVER THE PHONE and ON VACATION??? Wow.
So, I continue my search for a guy I could spend my life with. If you seem him, tell him I'm looking for him. Maybe give him my number. It might speed up the process.

Yep, what a dirt bag. I like the Nancy Kerrigan idea . . . Not that there is a particularly good way to break up with a girl, I'm just barely getting used to the whole idea of it. But I think I have more tact than that at least . . .
And if your kisses don't have fireworks, well, that's kinda your fault :)
Kisses can absolutely have fireworks and a symphony. Options:
1. Go to an ASU game
2. Go to the symphony
3. Go to a baseball game
4. 4th of July
5. Your subconscious will often times create them on its own while your lips are otherwise occupied. This is really the best.
