You know, ya gotta love the sudden outbursts!
Today during our reading lesson, a student blurts out
"Ms. Beaty looks like a teenager."
...another student a second later, "Ya, she does."
I say, "What does that have to do with our story?"
First student who commented says, "Well, it doesn't but it's true."
.....OH....if I could remember little moments like this forever...truly funny.

I tell my kids that I'm 42. And then whenever they accurately guess early twenties, I act like I'm flattered. "You seriously think I look 23? Sweeeeeet." I never tell them the right answer

Chameleon- but you DO look like a teenager. Don't punish their bright minds for being honest!! How exciting that you are teaching. I am still at the MTC, only I don't teach anymore. Since graduation, I have been working in the Development office helping out with our curriculum project. It's great! Where are you planning on teaching when you graduate?
Kids are so funny! Well at least they think you look young!
Kids are weird. And funny. Makes me sort of miss being a primary teacher.
